Marketing Executive

Hybrid (time split between Woking, Surrey office and home)

Full Time

£35,000 per annum

Purpose of the Role

Are you a creative thinker, able to turn ideas into engaging marketing content? At our client, the Marketing Executive supports the sales function by planning and delivering marketing activity that generates leads, supports sales opportunities and equips the sales team with high-quality marketing collateral. Sitting at the centre of an ambitious, fast-growing AI and digital transformation business, you will work closely with the Managing Director, Sales, Account Management and Brand Marketing teams to deliver campaigns, manage their websites and digital channels, and ensure their marketing activity supports commercial growth. This role makes active use of AI tools and automation to work efficiently, within their quality and information security standards.

Job Specification

  • Plan, coordinate, support and deliver lead generation campaigns including paid social, paid search and organic channels, that generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Manage and optimise our client’s WordPress websites using Elementor, including creating and updating pages, forms, calls to action and campaign landing pages that support lead generation.
  • Create, repurpose, schedule and publish content across their websites, social media channels, email marketing platforms and sales collateral, including blogs and articles to maximise reach across formats and channels.
  • Maintain the marketing content calendar, ensuring campaigns and communications are delivered on schedule.
  • Create and maintain marketing and sales assets including presentations, case studies, brochures, landing pages, lead magnets and campaign materials.
  • Support the sales team with marketing materials for customer meetings, proposals and events, plan and deliver demand-focused events and demos as a lead generation channel.
  • Raise brand visibility in key markets by actively engaging with relevant public sector networks and forums by building relationships and contributing content.
  • Create conversion-focused landing pages for campaigns, using clear content, forms and calls to action to generate enquiries, registrations and downloads.
  • Build and maintain marketing contact lists, supporting data quality, audience segmentation and lead scoring in alignment with sales qualification criteria.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to ensure marketing activity aligns with the wider brand and messaging.
  • Use approved AI tools and marketing automation to improve productivity, campaign delivery and lead nurturing.
  • Handle customer and marketing data responsibly, in line with their information security and quality standards (ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 42001) and UK GDPR.
  • Build and deliver multi-step lead generation campaigns across email, website and social media channels, including audience segmentation, landing pages, follow-up activity and performance reporting.

Minimum Required Experience (including personal qualities)

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, demand generation or sales enablement role.
  • Experience in managing a WordPress website or similar CMS, ideally using Elementor or a comparable page builder.
  • Experience in planning and delivering paid and organic B2B marketing campaigns across digital channels, including creating engaging content for LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
  • Ability to create marketing and sales collateral to a high standard, including presentations, case studies, landing pages and campaign assets.
  • Self-motivated, organised and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency Google Workspace, with experience using CRM and email marketing platforms desirable.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, content quality and marketing effectiveness, and genuinely enthusiastic about AI and adopting new technologies and ways of working.
