Marketing Executive
Position Summary
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Assistant to support the delivery of marketing campaigns, communications activities, and brand initiatives across a growing organisation.
This is an early-career opportunity offering hands-on experience across the full marketing mix within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support content creation, digital marketing, events, design projects, and administrative activities while contributing ideas and insights to marketing planning and strategy.
This role is well suited to an individual looking to develop a professional career in marketing and communications within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Content and Communications:
- Draft first versions of news articles, newsletters, campaign communications, and other marketing content for a range of audiences, including customers, prospects, partners, and media contacts.
- Proofread and edit marketing and communication materials, incorporating stakeholder feedback where required.
- Assist in the development of presentations, templates, and internal communication materials.
- Support the production of written content that aligns with organisational objectives and brand standards.
Design and Creative Production:
- Produce and update a range of marketing collateral for both print and digital use, including brochures, case studies, flyers, presentations, and infographics.
- Maintain and update existing design templates.
- Contribute creative ideas to campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all materials are produced to a high standard and in accordance with brand guidelines.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:
- Publish and update content across websites, social media platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Create and maintain email marketing templates and customer communications.
- Support digital marketing campaigns and content distribution activities.
- Assist with monitoring website, campaign, and social media performance metrics.
- Contribute ideas to improve online engagement and campaign effectiveness.
Events and Campaign Support:
- Assist with the planning and coordination of trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events.
- Coordinate marketing materials, supplier requirements, and event logistics.
- Support campaign delivery around key business initiatives, product launches, and industry events.
- Collect and compile post-event and campaign performance data.
Administrative and Operational Support:
- Maintain an organised library of marketing assets, including brand materials, templates, photography, and digital resources.
- Liaise with external suppliers, agencies, printers, and service providers as required.
- Support project administration and task tracking using project management tools.
- Ensure marketing records and documentation are maintained accurately.
Strategic Development Opportunities:
- Participate in marketing planning discussions and contribute ideas, insights, and competitor observations.
- Support market research and intelligence-gathering activities.
- Develop specialist skills in areas such as analytics, media relations, content creation, photography, videography, stakeholder engagement, or market research.
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the level and scope of the role.

Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented approach with a positive and proactive attitude.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or related role, including internships, placements, or voluntary experience.
- Experience using website content management systems and CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management and content publishing.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and email marketing systems.
- Experience supporting events, exhibitions, or conferences.
- Full driving licence and access to transport.
