Marketing Executive

Division: Marketing and Client Strategy

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Hybrid

About the Role

Help shape how Rathbones supports and engages with the UK’s financial adviser community. We’re looking for a commercially aware and highly organised Marketing Executive who understands the intermediary market and the challenges advisers face.

Whether your experience comes from marketing, sales support, business development or another role within wealth management or a financial adviser firm, you’ll bring valuable insight into this audience and what matters to them.

Working closely with colleagues across Rathbones and our wider B2B marketing team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful marketing activity, creating and managing marketing materials, coordinating webinars, and ensuring every initiative aligns with our business objectives.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns targeting intermediaries, such as IFAs and wealth managers.
  • Assist in the creation of campaign materials, including digital content, email marketing, social media posts, and print materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and product development, to ensure that campaigns align with business objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide reports to senior marketing staff, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with the Campaign Execution Manager on the logistics of digital campaigns, including setting up email workflows, managing social media accounts, and coordinating webinar promotions.
  • Assist in the production and delivery of content for events, webinars, and in-person engagements, ensuring high levels of participation and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns, working closely with the brand team to adhere to guidelines and messaging standards.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as creative agencies and event organisers, to ensure the timely delivery of campaign assets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy and targeting efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate these insights into campaign planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
