The Opportunity
Birmingham Panthers is building something different.
We’re not simply creating a netball club. We’re building a modern women’s sports brand that combines elite performance, community impact and commercial ambition. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Executive who will become the operational engine of our Audience Growth team. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a single channel or specialise in one discipline. It’s a role for someone who thrives on making things happen.
You’ll report into the Head of Audience Growth, and help to bring their strategy to life, campaigns into results and events into memorable experiences. You’ll coordinate activity across the organisation, oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure our marketing, commercial, community and matchday teams are all pulling in the same direction.
If you’re highly organised, commercially aware and enjoy being at the centre of a fast-moving environment, this is an opportunity to help shape one of the most ambitious women’s sports organisations in the country.
Role Purpose
The Marketing Executive is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of audience growth activity across Birmingham Panthers.
Acting as the central point of coordination within the function, you’ll oversee campaign planning, stakeholder co-ordination, agency delivery and cross-functional projects.
You’ll ensure campaigns are delivered on time, events are properly supported, commercial commitments are activated and every audience touchpoint reflects the Birmingham Panthers brand.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation and works closely with colleagues across Community, Performance, Commercial and Operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
