About the job

BIMA’s Marketing Executive is responsible for driving engagement and awareness of member benefits, predominantly through email and social channels. The member benefits range from virtual round tables, social events, to paid-for partnership activations, promoting awards entries, BIMA programmes and ticket sales.

BIMA is a small team and we need somebody that can operate at a fast pace and is extremely organised. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will also work closely with Events and Operations.

BIMA works remotely with one office day in London every two weeks. Some UK travel will be required.

The core areas of responsibility:

  • Promoting the organisation’s events, initiatives and membership benefits, to drive attendance and engagement
  • Management and upkeep of the organisation’s website and social channels
  • Driving engagement of our programmes such as Digital Day and Awards.

Roles and Responsibilities

MEMBERSHIP

  • Curating content and delivering Member Newsletters - weekly/monthly
  • Updating Membership presentations to ensure they are on brand and relevant

EVENTS

  • Driving event registrations through targeted email and social media
  • Curating and managing a busy email comms schedule
  • Copywriting for email and social media to promote events
  • Hosting post event content in an online archive

What we’re looking for:

We are after somebody that is used to a busy pace and is happy with executing a lot of tactical email and social campaigns to drive member engagement and promote our packed events schedule. But it’s also about the bigger picture, with responsibility for creating great copy and creativity for email and social media.

Experience in working with Photoshop and Canva is desirable.

Experience working in Digital or Marketing is valuable.

Experience working for a Membership Organisation is ideal but not essential.
