Location: Hybrid (1–2 days a week in Northampton) – Fully remote considered for the right candidate

Salary: £31,000 to £38,000 + discretionary bonus

Benefits: 25 days holiday, medical cover, Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday

Self-storage is a highly local, search-driven industry. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to combine digital marketing with hands-on local activity—whether you’re an experienced marketer or a recent graduate with a strong placement or internship background.

About The Role

We’re hiring a Marketing Executive who can play a key role in driving digital acquisition, supporting local marketing efforts, creating content, and amplifying our brand across our communities.

You may already be working as a Digital Marketing Executive, Marketing Executive, or Marketing Account Executive.

Role

You’ll have autonomy, room to develop, and the opportunity to see your work directly influence occupancy and revenue. This role is suitable for:

  • Experienced marketers who want broad responsibility and commercial impact
  • Recent marketing graduates with relevant placement experience ready to step into a full marketing role

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Website Performance

  • Manage and optimise our local search presence.
  • Support SEO, Google Ads, and paid social improvements.
  • Use analytics to improve website conversion rates.

Campaigns & Local Marketing

  • Develop hyper-local launch campaigns.
  • Plan promotions to support occupancy.
  • Audit signage and on-site branding.
  • Build local business partnerships.

Content, Brand & Customer Retention

  • Produce video, photo, and social content.
  • Drive positive reviews on Google and Trustpilot.
  • Support referral and email retention campaigns.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Track marketing spend, CAC, website performance, and ROI.
  • Work closely with sales and management teams.

About You

Experienced Marketers

  • Broad marketing experience including SEO, PPC, and social.
  • Confident content creator with strong copywriting skills.
  • Data-driven, commercially minded.

Graduates with Placement Experience

  • Degree in marketing or similar.
  • Completed a placement/internship with real marketing tasks.
  • Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.

In Both Cases

  • Energetic, creative, and full of ideas.
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy.
  • Keen to make a real commercial impact.
