Our Client:
Our client, IDR Law, is the UK's only law firm specialising exclusively in contentious probate, and they are growing fast. Backed by PE investment, with offices in Harrogate, Manchester and London, they are building a marketing function that matches their ambition.
They're looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Executive to join their team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This is not a junior or purely creative/content role, they need someone who can take real ownership of campaign execution, tracking, and optimisation of marketing outputs.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning week-to-week performance tracking across our channels (Google Analytics, Search Console, keyword rankings, HubSpot referrer engagement)
- Turning data into clear, actionable recommendations; not just reporting numbers
- Driving content strategy and campaign execution, with a strong influence on how content converts enquiries
- Managing B2B and/or B2C campaign activity; strength in one channel with the right core skill set matters more than experience across both
- Supporting the rollout of our LegalTech products into the market
- Contributing to employer brand and internal comms activity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What they are looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in a marketing role with genuine, data-led campaign management; not just content or social media upkeep
- Confident with SEO/analytics tools (GA, Search Console) and able to turn data into action
- Experience with email marketing and CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot
- Strong, adaptable writing skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects independently in a fast-moving team
- A genuine interest in how technology products work and how to sell that value to a professional audience
- Note: prior legal or professional services marketing experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement; and isn't valuable on its own unless it involved real data-led campaign work rather than light social/website management
