Company Overview: TENEX is an AI-native, automation-first, built-for-scale Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider. We are a force multiplier for defenders, helping organizations enhance their cybersecurity posture through advanced threat detection, rapid response, and continuous protection. Our team is composed of industry experts with deep experience in cybersecurity, automation, and AI-driven solutions. Backed by leading investors, we are rapidly growing and seeking top talent to join our mission of revolutionizing the MDR landscape. We’re a fast growing startup backed by industry experts and top tier investor Andreessen Horowitz. As an early employee, you’ll play a meaningful role in defining and building our culture. Get in on the ground floor. We’re a small but well-funded team that just raised a substantial round – joining now comes with limited risk and unlimited upside. Culture is one of the most important things at TENEX.AI—explore our culture deck at culture.tenex.ai to witness how we embody it, prioritizing the irreplaceable collaboration and community of in-person work. About the Opportunity: TENEX is expanding into EMEA, and we're hiring the first marketing generalist on the ground. You'll own events, partner marketing, regional content, swag, social, and the field logistics that make all of it run — directly building how an AI-native MDR company shows up across the region. Every week looks different. Your work is visible from day one. What You'll Do: Run EMEA events end-to-end. Plan, staff, and execute regional industry events, partner conferences, webinars, executive dinners, and roadshows — from venue selection through on-site management and post-event follow-up. Serve as on-site event manager. Be the boots-on-the-ground lead at major moments — booth setup and breakdown, speaker logistics, attendee experience, lead capture, and partner coordination throughout the show. Drive EMEA partner marketing. Run joint go-to-market with regional hyperscaler teams (Google Cloud, Microsoft, AWS) and security ecosystem partners — co-marketing campaigns, co-branded content, joint events, and MDF execution from claim through reporting. Localize content for EMEA. Adapt TENEX case studies, blog posts, and event collateral for regional audiences and regulatory context (GDPR, NIS2, DORA). Translate when needed; commission translation when scale demands it. Own swag and merchandise. Source, manage, and distribute branded merchandise for EMEA events, customer gifts, and partner activations. Keep inventory and budget on track. Run EMEA social. Own LinkedIn cadence and engagement for the region, amplify partner moments, cover live events, and ghostwrite or support social posts for EMEA executives. Travel across the region. 30-40% travel across UK, Germany, France, Nordics, Benelux, and emerging EMEA markets. What You Bring: 4-6 years of B2B marketing experience, with hands-on responsibility across events, content, and partner marketing — ideally in cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise SaaS. Demonstrated experience as an on-site event manager — running booth operations, managing vendors, and handling real-time logistics under pressure. Track record executing partner marketing or co-marketing campaigns with hyperscalers or major technology vendors in EMEA. Comfort working autonomously in a small, fast-moving team — you ship, measure, and iterate without needing a layer of approvals. Willingness to travel 30-40% across EMEA, including occasional weekends for major events. Bonus Points: Experience marketing managed services, MDR, MSSP, or SOC offerings. Fluent business English plus an additional EMEA language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch). Existing relationships within Google Cloud, Microsoft, or AWS partner marketing teams in EMEA. Familiarity with Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or 6sense. Prior experience standing up a regional marketing function from scratch at a high-growth startup. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Cloud Partner Advantage, or Microsoft Cloud Partner Program credentials are a plus. Why Join Us? Opportunity to launch EMEA marketing for an AI-native MDR company at hyper-growth scale — first marketer in the region, with direct ownership of how TENEX shows up across hyper-scaler ecosystems, partner channels, and field events. Collaborate with a talented and innovative team focused on continuously improving security operations. Competitive salary and benefits package. A culture of growth and development, with opportunities to expand your knowledge in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
