Marketing Insights Analyst
We are seeking a Marketing Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to a senior marketing role, this position is dedicated to supporting the UK and US marketing efforts by researching and writing insight-focused marketing reports to enhance our strategies and produce industry-leading content that positively impacts CARMA’s brand. This will also include facilitating and attending events, understanding the market, and growing their own profile within the industry. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of projects to ensure reports are of exceptional quality and delivered by deadline.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Attraction:
- Research and write CARMA’s flagship marketing reports.
- Provide relevant and compelling reports and insights to potential customers, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of CARMA’s offerings.
- Ensure consistent brand representation and resonance across all marketing channels while monitoring brand perception.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Assist in communicating insights and findings to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.
- Externally, this may include presenting findings at events, hosting webinars, and engaging with prospects.
- Efficiently plan, organise, and execute projects while effectively managing resources and communicating with stakeholders.
- Collaborative Projects:
- In conjunction with Marketing, Sales and our Insights team, develop engaging content for a diverse range of purposes and channels, including website, social media, user guides, presentations, customer collateral, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with business goals, target audience, and brand messaging.
- Tool Utilisation:
- Utilise CARMA’s platform and other relevant platforms and tools to gather and analyse media data, ensuring efficient and accurate insights.
- Analyse and interpret raw data to provide insightful marketing recommendations.
- Utilise the CARMA platform for setting up and analysing marketing campaigns.
- Campaign Support:
- Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns by providing data-driven insights and monitoring campaign performance in real-time.
- Translate insights into actionable day-to-day improvements across all marketing channels.
- Learning and Development:
- Continuously develop your skills in media insights, stakeholder communication, and PR analysis through training, workshops, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

- A strong track record in an Insights role.
- Keen interest in current affairs.
- Proficiency in handling and interpreting raw data.
- Strong understanding of regional market differences and marketing dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and curious mindset.
- Ambition to be more public-facing than a traditional analyst role.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools is a plus.
- Good knowledge of best practices in the communications evaluation sector, latest industry trends, topics, and issues.
- Excellent written and spoken English with a comprehensive understanding of grammar.
- In-depth, working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
- Team player, management, delegation, and motivation experience preferred.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset with an ability to rapidly learn new tools and techniques.
- Commercial awareness coupled with effective closing capabilities.
- Experienced in working across multiple Insights projects at any one time.
