Overview

Stats Perform is the market leader in sports tech. We provide the most trusted sports data to some of the world's biggest organizations, across sports, media, and broadcasting.

Through the latest AI technologies and machine learning, we combine decades' worth of data with the latest in-game happenings. We then offer coaches, teams, professional bodies, and media channels around the world, access to the very best data, content, and insights. In turn, improving how sports fans interact with their favorite sports teams and competitions.

Anywhere you find sport, Stats Perform is there. However, data and tech are only half of the package. We need great people to fuel the engine.

We succeeded thanks to a team of amazing people. They spend their days collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from a wide range of live sporting events. If you combine this real-time data with our 40-year-old archives, elite journalists, camera operators, copywriters, the latest in AI wizardry, and a host of 'behind the scenes' support staff, you've got all the ingredients to make it a magical experience!

Program Overview

Stats Perform summer internship program is a paid 8 week full-time internship. Interns work together and individually within the organization to gain valuable experience and make an impact in sports technology. Not only will Stats Perform Interns have hands on experience in their field of study but there are awesome perks too! There will be activities, training sessions with other Stats Perform employees, and an end-of-summer presentation.

Position Overview

The Marketing Intern will assist in content creation to generate leads on web, email and social reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing lead generation plans across various channels (webinars, gated content, chatbots, email marketing, social media).
  • Create compelling content based on audience needs and market trends, including blog posts, landing pages, email copy, social media posts, and chatbot scripts.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of gated content (e.g., ebooks, white papers, case studies) to capture leads.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance across channels, including lead generation metrics (conversion rates, cost per lead), web traffic, and engagement.
  • Identify and report on successful tactics and areas for improvement based on data insights.
  • Recommend optimizations to content, campaigns, and lead nurturing strategies to maximize lead generation return on investment (ROI).
  • Utilize web analytics tools to track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and lead source effectiveness.
  • Analyze email marketing campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to identify trends and optimize future campaigns.
  • Monitor social media analytics to measure content engagement and audience demographics.
  • Prepare and present insightful reports on web traffic, email traffic, and social media performance to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • To be currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism or Advertising.
  • Excellent verbal communication, business writing skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Curious and diligent nature.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
