Marketing Intern (2-Month Internship)
Location: Battersea, London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Type: Internship (Full-Time)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Duration: 24th August 2026 – 23rd October 2026

About the Role
Forum Auctions, a leading London-based auction house specialising in modern prints and editions, rare books, and manuscripts, is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant Intern.
The 2-month internship offers hands-on experience across digital marketing, social media, content creation, email marketing, analytics, and campaign coordination, providing an opportunity to develop practical marketing skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing marketing content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) using Later.
- Create engaging marketing assets, including:
- Video content
- Image carousels
- Static graphics
- Promotional posts for upcoming sales and events.
- Research, develop, and write scripts to highlight key auction lots, coordinating approvals before filming and publication with relevant departments.
- Film and edit short-form video content for social media, ensuring alignment with current trends and best practices.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns through SendGrid, covering:
- Content preparation
- Testing
- Scheduling
- Reporting
- Contribute to website content updates via the company Content Management System (CMS).
- Monitor social media performance and audience engagement, helping prioritise content based on:
- Campaign objectives
- Business needs
- Occasionally track and analyse digital marketing performance using:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Platform analytics
- Prepare and present concise performance reports for senior management, including:
- Campaign insights
- Competitor analysis
- Key performance metrics
- Collaborate with specialist teams across departments to deliver:
- Effective auction marketing campaigns
- Brand storytelling
- Assist with auction-day activities and operational support as required.
- Provide ad hoc marketing and administrative support for:
- Advertising campaigns
- Partnerships
- Promotional initiatives
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.

Requirements
- Studied or recently graduated in:
- Marketing
- Communications
- Business
- Media
- A related field
- Strong interest in:
- Digital marketing
- Social media
- Content creation
- Proficiency in using:
- Social media platforms
- Current trends in social media
- Basic skills in:
- Video filming
- Video editing (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong:
- Written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to:
- Organise work
- Manage multiple priorities
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Advantageous but not required:
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (SendGrid)
- Basic understanding of GA4 (Google Analytics 4) and marketing reporting
- Plus: Interest in:
- AI tools
- Emerging marketing technologies
