Water is one of the defining challenges of the century, and it is climbing the global agenda fast. Global Water Intelligence is where the sector turns to make sense of it. For more than two decades our analysts have produced the data, forecasts and judgement that water businesses, utilities, investors and governments rely on, across GWI Executive, WaterData, DesalData, the Global Water Summit and UltraFacility.

The Role

We have real marketing projects underway and need curious, driven people to help us deliver them. You can expect to be involved in:

  • Cross-channel campaigns, from social and email to traditional channels like direct mail
  • Creating content and assets that make our value clear and unmistakably ours
  • Researching our audience and market, and acting on what you find
  • Sharpening our messaging – the words, the voice, the argument
  • Helping launch and develop new products

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We use AI to work faster and smarter, and you will be encouraged to make the most of it – but the heart of the job is learning the craft, understanding our customers, and producing work we are proud of.

Why Marketing Matters Here

At its heart, marketing is business strategy – determining what customers value, communicating it clearly, and building the trust that makes them choose us. We work hard to put the right message in front of the right people, in language that carries our voice – because we have no interest in wasting our customers' time, or our own. If you are drawn to the power of words, to what makes a message land, and to understanding why customers really buy, you will be in good company.

What We Are Looking For

We care more about how you think, and how fast you learn, than about what is on your CV. We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • A recent graduate with a strong academic record and genuine curiosity
  • A clear writer and a clear thinker
  • More interested in customer psychology and how markets work than in marketing theory
  • Inquisitive – keen to understand our products, customers and market in depth
  • A resourceful self-starter, at ease with ambiguity
  • Open to new tools and new ways of working, including AI
  • Someone who asks why, then asks what next
