Lead Marketing Manager – PC/Console Studio – Hertfordshire (Hybrid)
Amiqus have partnered with an exciting studio based in Hertfordshire, who are looking to hire an experienced Lead Marketing Manager to join their growing team. The studio has helped release some of the best indie games on the console/PC market and this position will offer you the chance to work with these titles and new releases.
As a member of the Marketing team, you will be working closely with the developers and helping them plan their future releases. Other responsibilities include talking to internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams to help get ‘the word out’ on these exciting new releases. The position comes with a lot of influence in the studio as you’ll be directly interfacing with all sides of game development, from sales, retail, development and media, also having a huge say on the Marketing Strategy of the business and the budgets around this.

You’ll lead a small team consisting of a Communications Manager, Social Media/Community Manager, 2 Video Editors and a Graphics Designer. All with the same goal of helping Market a catalogue of releases to the right audiences. We’re looking for a campaign and results driven person, who has worked on several successful campaigns.
The role will offer you a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing studio with games that have attracted a large number of players. You will also be involved with the product launch of new upcoming titles and the journey of first contact to a shipped release.
You’ll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio.
This role offers a hybrid model which includes 2 days remote (Monday + Friday) and 3 days onsite (Tues/Weds/Thurs). The studio offer a range of benefits such as relocation assistance, pension, choice of laptop, training and development plans and a generous holiday allowance. We are unable to offer fully remote working patterns and cannot sponsor visas for this role, so you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary range - £60,000 - £70,000
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Product/Marketing position
- Previous Lead or Mentoring experience
- Games Industry experience is vital to the role
- Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media
- Led successful games campaigns/releases
- An avid player of indie games (especially the Anime world) would be a bonus
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a studio who are dominating the games market and can offer the successful candidate a position of influence in the business to manage an autonomous desk.
