Marketing Lead – Food, Drinks & Restaurants

We are recruiting for a Marketing Lead to head up the marketing strategy for Harrods’ Food, Drinks & Restaurants division, creating impactful campaigns and customer experiences that drive commercial performance and reinforce our position as a leader in luxury retail. This position is a fixed-term contract until May 2027.

About the Role

As Marketing Lead – Food, Drinks & Restaurants, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a divisional marketing strategy that supports wider business objectives while enhancing customer engagement across one of Harrods’ most distinctive categories. Working closely with commercial teams, partnerships, insights, creative and marketing operations, you will use your category expertise to shape campaigns, identify opportunities for growth, and deliver measurable results.

You will act as a key strategic partner across the business, ensuring marketing activity is customer-led, commercially focused, and aligned to the Harrods brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering the marketing strategy, annual plan and budget for the Food, Drinks & Restaurants division, ensuring alignment with business and customer objectives.
  • Leading the planning and execution of campaigns, commercial activations and major trading moments that drive engagement, sales and brand awareness.
  • Using customer insights, market trends and category knowledge to identify opportunities, shape marketing priorities and measure performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Building and managing the divisional marketing calendar, developing campaign briefs and partnering with internal teams to deliver activity on time and within budget.
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, brand partners and cross-functional teams to maximise commercial opportunities and enhance the customer experience.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
