Marketing Lead
UK Marketing Lead
Position: UK Marketing Lead Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term (Part-time, hybrid) Location: London office (at least two set days per week)

Credit Benchmark is a financial data analytics company collaborating with global financial institutions to build the market’s largest contributed credit risk data platform. Our platform enables clients to identify, quantify, and monitor credit risk across sovereigns, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, corporates, and funds, leveraging our consensus ratings for 120,000+ entities.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced UK Marketing Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the US-based Global Head of Marketing, this hands-on generalist role spans content creation, digital marketing, design, events, webinars, and brand management.
This role suits a senior B2B marketing manager who thrives independently, values executional quality, and manages diverse activities efficiently within a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time and hybrid, requiring three days per week of work, with at least two set days per week at our London office.
Responsibilities
Website & Digital
- Manage day-to-day website content via WordPress/Elementor, including publishing posts, updating pages, and structuring the site.
- Ensure all web content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards, collaborating with internal stakeholders on product/development updates, research releases, and campaign activities.
- Monitor and report on website traffic, audience trends, and conversions using GA4, Fathom, Leadfeeder, RB2B, and other analytics tools. Surface insights to inform content and campaign decisions.
Content & Design
- Edit and publish research reports to publication-ready standards using Adobe InDesign.
- Create and adapt charts in Excel aligned with brand guidelines.
- Design and edit visual assets (graphics, banners, event collateral) using Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Illustrator for video content.
- Develop and maintain on-brand presentations in PowerPoint for sales and marketing.
- Produce consistent social content (graphics, short-form videos, copy) for paid and organic channels, adhering to brand standards.

Analytics & Reporting
- Compile marketing performance reports using Pardot and Salesforce data to track lead engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain reporting alignment with the Global Head of Marketing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency globally.
- Analyse digital content and social activity performance, using insights to refine optimisation and planning.
Webinars & Events
- Own the end-to-end webinar process—scheduling, technical setup, promotion, and post-event follow-up (using Cisco WebEx), including managing live platform operations for the sales team.
- Project-manage in-house and third-party events, including registration processes, collateral production, logistics, and pre- and post-event email campaigns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in generalist or marketing management roles.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of Illustrator strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using a CMS (e.g., WordPress or equivalent) for content management.
- Confidence with web analytics tools (GA4 required; proficiency in Fathom, Leadfeeder, RB2B, or similar preferred).
- Experience creating commercial social content, including graphics and short-form video.
- Hands-on webinar management experience—live event operation (WebEx or equivalent).
- PowerPoint and Excel expertise, including chart creation and branding alignment.
- Prioritise Salesforce, Pardot, or HubSpot for email marketing/lead management.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail and consistency.
- Self-driven, efficient in independent work while maintaining alignment across time zones (ET/GMT).
