The Role: Marketing Localisation Specialist
About the Role
We’re seeking a Marketing Localisation Specialist to: Support day-to-day delivery of multilingual marketing content across global and regional campaigns. Coordinate localisation requests, vendors, deadlines, and cross-department workflows to ensure content aligns with brand expectations and is delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing localisation requests from intake to delivery. Liaise with language service providers (LSPs), translators, reviewers, and internal stakeholders.
- Track deadlines, project status, dependencies, risks, and outstanding actions.
- Prepare briefs, reference materials, and localisation context support.
- Support localisation for:
- Campaigns
- Web, email, paid media, social content
- Events, landing pages, and sales enablement assets
- Manage vendor queries and coordinate internal responses.
- Support review/approval workflows for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure final deliverables adhere to instructions in terms of: Formatting, translation, and brand guidelines.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and workflow updates.
- Advocate for best practices in Phrase (localisation platform) use.
- Escalate risks, blockers, delays, or quality concerns promptly.

Requirements
Experience ( Crucial )
- Localisation, marketing localisation, translation coordination, or content/marketing ops.
- Multilingual content management across multiple languages/markets.
- Liaising with LSPs, translators, or external agencies.
- Strong organisation, deadline management, and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills (written/verbal).
- Ability to handle multitasking and shifting priorities.
- Experience with:
- Localisation platforms
- Project trackers
- Workflow tools
Preferred Experience (Bonus)
- Hands-on Phrase usage.
- Past work with:
- Marketing content (e.g., campaigns, web, social, events, sales enablement).
- B2B/enterprise tech (e.g., SaaS, AI, cybersecurity).
- Knowledge of:
- Translation memory, terminology, style guides, and review workflows.
- Tools like project management/CMS/DAM.
- Basic understanding of:
- Transcreation (adaptation for cultural relevance), SEO localisation, and regional marketing adaptations.
