About The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team at Kinetic Games. This role will support marketing initiatives across both Kinetic Games and Kinetic Publishing, helping bring our games to players around the world while supporting the success of our publishing partners.

Reporting to the Lead Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in planning, delivering and optimising marketing campaigns across multiple titles and initiatives. You'll work closely with developers, internal teams and external agencies to coordinate campaigns from concept through to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in games marketing who is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll be trusted to own projects, collaborate across the business and contribute creative ideas while continuing to develop your skills in a fast-growing games studio.

Due to the nature of the role, it will be based remotely with occasional travel to our office in Southampton for meetings. At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, executing and managing integrated marketing campaigns across Kinetic Games and Kinetic Publishing titles.
  • Supporting go-to-market strategies for game announcements, launches, updates and live service content.
  • Working closely with developers to understand upcoming content and translate it into compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with Social Media, Community, Creative, Player Experience and Partnerships teams to ensure campaigns are aligned across all channels.
  • Managing campaign timelines, long-term marketing calendars and project deliverables across multiple titles.
  • Briefing, coordinating and managing external agencies and freelancers to deliver high-quality creative assets and campaign support.
  • Working with platform partners and publishers to coordinate marketing opportunities and promotional activity where appropriate.
  • Supporting the creation of marketing assets including trailers, key art, store assets, emails, presentations and promotional materials.
  • Monitoring campaign performance, reporting on results and using insights to optimise future activity.
  • Helping manage marketing budgets, timelines and priorities across multiple projects.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity and emerging marketing opportunities within the games industry.
  • Supporting wider brand marketing initiatives that strengthen awareness of Kinetic Games and Kinetic Publishing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a marketing role, ideally within the games industry or wider entertainment sector.
  • Experience planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative teams, developers and external partners.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, influencer marketing, email marketing and platform merchandising.
  • Comfortable analysing campaign performance and turning data into actionable insights.
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to work independently when required.
  • A genuine passion for video games, understanding of the games industry and current trends.

Nice To Haves:

  • A degree or post-graduate qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience launching or marketing PC and console games.
  • Experience supporting live service games and ongoing content marketing.
  • Knowledge of Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Epic Games Store marketing opportunities.
  • Experience briefing and managing external agencies or suppliers.
  • Experience with influencer and creator marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Asana or Trello.
  • Familiarity with industry events such as Gamescom, SGF, etc.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets.
  • Knowledge of paid media planning and performance marketing.
  • Experience working with publishing partners or third-party developers.
  • A knowledge and love of all things indie gaming!
