As the UK's leading beer, cider and pub business, we're home to some of the world's best-loved beers and ciders, and a leading player in the international drinks industry.
We're the name behind a host of brilliant brands, from Inch's to Birra Moretti and many more. And with around 2,400 pubs to our name in the UK, our Star Pubs business is all about putting pubs at the centre of community life.
But we're more than great beers and ciders. We're a place where passion meets purpose, careers are built as carefully as our brews, and enjoyment of life is part of the job.
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to lead a portfolio of our best-loved brands and drive volume, value and market share growth. You will own the brand P&L, lead a team of managers and senior specialists, and act as brand guardian across the HEINEKEN UK business.
About The Role
As Marketing Manager, you own the health and growth of a portfolio of our best-loved brands, driving volume, value and market share. You are the brand guardian and the leading advocate for these brands right across the HEINEKEN UK business.
You lead a team of managers and senior specialists. Your job is to get the best from them, building their capability and developing the talent we will need next, rather than doing the work yourself.
Day to day, you set and own the brand and channel plans. You use the full marketing mix to grow profitability and brand awareness, track performance against plan, and step in early where something needs correcting, keeping people informed as you go.
The role reaches well beyond your own team. You partner with senior leaders across Business Units to shape cross-functional strategies, and you read consumer attitudes, competitor moves and distribution closely so our brands keep pace with the market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
