Introduction

This is a critical, time-sensitive opportunity to join one of the UK’s most dynamic marketing teams in cloud computing software.

About the Role Filling a maternity cover for a Senior Individual Contributor, this role offers high-impact responsibilities in the UK and Ireland (UKI) go-to-market (GTM) organisation, blending precision-focused large deal marketing and flagship event strategy. Your time will be divided:

  • 70%: B2B marketing for strategic accounts, aligned with sales on tailored Pursuit-Based Marketing (PBM) initiatives.
  • 30%: Execution of high-profile executive events, branding activities, and roundtables—with a focus on indulging top-tier customers.

This hybrid role attracts experienced ABM/PBM specialists seeking both the detail of strategic pursuits and the creativity of flagships.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Strategic Pursuit Marketing

  • Plan and direct PBM programmes for the UKI’s most significant accounts, in partnership with senior sales, leadership, and EMEA teams.
  • Data-driven account selection—identify high-potential targets using intent signals and market insights to inform campaign strategy and success metrics.
  • Drive deal acceleration by co-designing bespoke campaigns across large accounts, focusing on messaging, content, and 1:1 tactical activation to nudge pipeline and cater to executive priorities.
    • Creatives, clockwork campaigns like monthly journals, and bespoke collateral targeting SPEXS, Boosters, and Perks investments.
  • Oversight of budgets and external agency relationships, ensuring high-quality output aligned with c-suite priorities for pipeline expansion and revenue growth.

  • Advocate for AI integration in marketing processes—drive efficiency gains, sensible automation, and smarter workflows.

Skills & Experience

📌 Core Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience designing and executing:
    • Precision-focused B2B ABM/PBM campaigns,
    • Executive-account eyelines (c-suite & SPVs focus).
  • Creative & content marketing prowess—craft bespoke narratives, tailored messaging, and compelling assets for strategic lines of business.
  • Senior stakeholder management—influence sales & leadership, align competing priorities, and stakeholder advocacy across the deal cycle.
  • Event experience: From start to finish, managing high-stakes programmes (e.g., permanent teams face-to-face days, transcontinental hospitality).
  • Cross-functional budget & agency management—deliver operational excellence with $8m+ budgets.
  • Technical agility: Confidence with our marketing toolset—ability to adapt swiftly and enjoy rapid pace of change.
