Ribbon Bio is a cell-free DNA developer transforming access to high-fidelity DNA molecules. By producing DNA independent of bacterial-mediated processes, Ribbon sidesteps many of the limitations inherent to traditional plasmid-based approaches, delivering purer DNA, faster production timelines, and greater reliability at scale. This cell-free approach unlocks a new level of freedom and flexibility, enabling researchers and developers to access DNA molecules of unprecedented length, structure, and complexity, eliminating long-standing bottlenecks which constrain innovation.

As our Marketing Manager
You will play a key role in shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy to drive product adoption, increase brand awareness, and support revenue growth. You will lead cross-functional marketing initiatives, oversee product launch activities, develop compelling technical content, and use data-driven insights to optimize performance and maximize market impact.
Tasks
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and GTM strategies for product launches, including setting timelines, identifying target audiences aligned with the company’s business objectives, focusing on market penetration of Ribbon’s product in the application areas as outlined in the company strategy.
- Produce scientifically accurate and compelling marketing materials, including white papers, blogs, webinars, and videos, to engage technical audiences through alignment with internal technical teams and product managers.
- Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, events, and public relations, to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Establish KPIs and utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to refine strategies. Utilize digital tools (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media) to promote products and engage with audiences effectively.
- This also includes regular reporting out of metrics to the leadership team and actively proposing next steps to align with and reach company goals.
- Manage events, both owning events calendar and executing to ensure representation of products and services at trade shows, conferences, and scientific symposia.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing materials and channels, strengthening the company’s presence in the synthetic biology space.
- Align with Product Management to ensure product marketing messaging is aligned with findings from competitor analyses and unmet customer needs.
- Work with product managers to create and distribute sales tools towards sales enablement.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in biotechnology, life sciences, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches.
- Ability to create compelling scientific and technical marketing content for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, content, events, and public relations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing metrics and data to optimize performance and report results.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Technical teams to develop product messaging and sales enablement materials.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English communication skills required; native-level proficiency preferred.
