How You Will Make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. The Marketing Manager serves as the strategic marketing lead for the EMEA division of SPX Cooling, driving integrated marketing programs that support growth, strengthen brand presence and enable sales effectiveness. This role leads the development and execution of marketing campaigns, content strategy and digital initiatives that elevate SPX Cooling’s market position across the region.
The role will be responsible for the marketing activities/execution in the EMEA region, Strategy direction will be defined & developed by and with the Global marketing function for the Cooling business.
The ideal candidate combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, is fluent in modern marketing tools and tactics, and collaborates effectively across global teams.
What You Can Expect in This Role (Job Responsibilities)

Lead Regional Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute the annual EMEA marketing plan aligned to divisional revenue and growth targets.
- Translate business priorities into actionable campaigns, programs and content strategies.

Own Content & Campaign Execution
- Oversee the creation of high-impact content and promotional assets across digital and traditional channels.
- Launch and manage integrated campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and lead generation.

Drive Digital Marketing Performance
- Lead digital programs across web, social, paid media, email automation and public relations to expand reach and strengthen the SPX Cooling brand.
- Use analytics to monitor performance, optimize campaigns and report measurable impact.

Support Commercial Growth
- Partner closely with the commercial team to develop demand generation programs and sales enablement materials.
- Manage marketing support for trade shows, industry events, and commercial programs.

Market Insights & Voice of Customer
- Lead EMEA market research initiatives and gather Voice of Customer insights to shape marketing strategy and content.
- Monitor competitive activity and emerging market trends.

Global Alignment & Collaboration
- Ensure brand consistency and design standards across all channels and materials.
- Partner with the U.S. marketing team to support global campaigns and share best practices.

Commercial Excellence
- Attend commercial reviews for Datacentre, Core business & adjacencies in EMEA.
- Provide market insights to enable long-term demand planning for the above revenue streams.
What We Are Looking For (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
Required Experience
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in industrial or technical sectors, with a strong portfolio spanning content marketing, digital campaigns and lead generation.
- Strategic storytelling and content development expertise – proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions across multiple channels.
- Experience of working in a business model where early-stage engagement with the client is critical for the success of winning the opportunity, by ensuring the company’s products are the Basis of Design.
- Digital marketing execution experience across web, email, social, and paid channels.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot): audience segmentation, lead nurturing, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
- Web content management and SEO fundamentals, including optimization for discoverability and conversion.
- Social media marketing and channel management: editorial calendar ownership, community engagement, and coordination with paid media/ops teams.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and commercial audience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms and MarTech, including HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4 dashboards, UTM best practices, and site performance analytics.
- Experience with media and PR strategy, including trade media engagement and earned coverage.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field.
- Preferred/plus: Master’s degree in marketing or business administration; HubSpot Email Marketing or Inbound certification; Google Analytics (GA4) certification; PRSA or comparable professional development.
Travel & Working Environment
- Travel up to ~10%, including 2-4 trips per year for professional development, trade shows, customer events, site visits, and video/photo shoots.
- Office environment with extended periods of computer work; collaboration with teams across time zones.
- Periodic visits to manufacturing facilities to gather content or capture visuals, following all safety protocols.
