About The Box
The Box is a leading luxury sample sale retailer, partnering with some of the world’s most recognised fashion and lifestyle brands to bring exclusive sale events to a highly engaged membership base. We work with multiple prestigious brands and operate a growing digital membership programme.
We’re a lean, ambitious team and we move fast. This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal moment as we scale our membership offering and professionalise our marketing function.
The role
We’re looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to own our digital marketing, CRM, and membership strategy. This is a newly created position and a genuine opportunity to build something - you’ll have real ownership and direct impact on revenue.
You’ll act as the internal conductor for all marketing activity: managing our Agency partner, briefing our content team, and driving the membership funnel from awareness through to retention. You won’t be executing in a vacuum - you’ll be setting the strategy and holding the wider team to account.
You’ll have the opportunity to pitch exciting partnership opportunities and develop new ways for us to grow our community, from London to the rest of the UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you’ll do
- Manage the CRM alongside Agency partner: segmentation, automated flows, list hygiene, and performance reporting
- Lead all email marketing: campaign planning, copywriting briefs, A/B testing, and deliverability management
- Drive membership growth and retention - owning the acquisition funnel from first touch through to renewal
- Manage our Agency partner, briefing campaigns, reviewing performance, and optimising spend efficiency across a monthly budget
- Coordinate our content team with clear briefs, a shared calendar, and consistent brand output
- Build and maintain the digital marketing calendar across email, paid social, organic, and event-based activity
- Report weekly on core KPIs: member acquisition cost, LTV, email engagement, and paid ROAS
- Identify opportunities to bring more capability in-house and reduce external dependency over time

- 3–5 years of marketing management experience, with demonstrable ownership of CRM and email programmes
- Hands-on experience with a major CRM/ESP platform (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Dotdigital or similar)
