About The Role
As Marketing Manager you will own and deliver trade marketing, TikTok Shop performance and brand events across Orien Trade Group’s UK portfolio. This is a hands-on, ownership-level role: you will run trade marketing programmes and manage retailer relationships, act as the internal owner of our agency-run TikTok Shops, and lead events delivered on behalf of the brands we represent in the UK. You’ll work closely with sales, brand partners and external agencies to drive sell-through, channel visibility and commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and executing trade marketing activities that support sell-in, sell-through and stronger retailer partnerships across the UK market
- Acting as the key marketing contact for UK retailers and channel partners, ensuring campaigns, promotions and activations are delivered smoothly and to brand standards
- Coordinating promotional activities, point-of-sale materials, product launches, trade activations and channel-specific campaigns
- Working closely with the sales team to turn account priorities into practical marketing support, including assets, campaign materials and retailer communication
- Managing trade marketing timelines, budgets, suppliers and feedback to continuously improve campaign performance
- Taking ownership of TikTok Shop performance by managing the external agency, setting the content and promotional calendar, and tracking sales, conversion, engagement and ROI
- Coordinating TikTok creators, affiliates and live-selling activity while ensuring brand consistency and compliance with platform and brand guidelines
- Planning and delivering UK brand events, including launches, activations, trade shows, exhibitions and retailer or partner events
- Managing external partners such as agencies, creators, designers, printers and event suppliers, ensuring work is delivered on time, on brief and within budget
- Tracking and reporting on trade marketing, TikTok Shop and event performance, sharing clear insights and recommendations with management

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
