Marketing Manager
A highly regarded London law firm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Business Development and Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. There may be potential for the role to extend beyond the initial contract period.
This is a broad and varied marketing role, working as part of a small, collaborative team and reporting into the Head of Marketing and Business Development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the firm’s marketing and business development strategy, with responsibility across campaigns, digital marketing, content, social media, CRM, events, reporting and stakeholder management.
The firm has a strong reputation in its market, a high-quality client base and a friendly, professional culture. This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on marketing role where they can take ownership, build relationships across the firm and contribute to a wide range of projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
