Marketing Manager
Marketing Manager – Bath or Cheltenham

We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager to support the Head of Commercial in implementing and managing Fidelius’ Marketing Strategy, including campaigns, social media, and brand-related communications. The role will also serve as the primary point of contact for all internal/external marketing, compliance, and external stakeholder engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Strategy
- Manage end-to-end marketing planning for all Fidelius group brands, developing collateral that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Execute the group marketing strategy, working closely with the Board of Directors to drive business objectives.
- Grow and develop the marketing function within the company.
- Support the Head of Commercial in designing client engagement campaigns for each service line.
- Oversee LinkedIn-centric social media campaigns, including engagement strategies and crisis management.
- Manage Fidelius and Fidelius Medical websites, including:
- CMS content updates (including professional bios, proposition pages, and basic SEO).
- Maintenance of Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools.
- Collaborating with website developers/hosters to implement brand improvements.
- Maintain external marketing agency relationships and ensure campaign effectiveness.
- Support newly acquired business marketing needs and inorganic growth strategies.
- Identify and develop marketing resources to enhance the Fidelius brand.
- Establish and refine marketing processes to align with the strategy.
- Work with the Compliance team to ensure FCA & Consumer Duty compliance for all client-facing materials.
- Create engaging content across formats (blogs, case studies, PR, videos) using:
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
- Assist in building pitch decks alongside the Head of Commercial and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage marketing templates and style guides for company-wide use.
- Lead group award submissions to elevate brand PR.
- Partner with Advice Solutions to produce resources for advisors and clients.
- Support business growth objectives with the Business Development Manager.
- Gather and facilitate ideas requiring marketing support across the business.
- Audit and refresh proposition libraries to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Communications & PR
- Lead the PR programme for Fidelius, ensuring ongoing brand enhancement.
- Develop and manage internal/external communication channels in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee Central Investment Proposition (CIP) content production.
- Orchestrate and schedule communications activities with Leadership Teams.
- Manage SharePoint content and resources to ensure ease of access.
- Build and operationalise the company’s crisis communications strategy.
- Work with COO & Head of HR on internal communication strategies.
External Relations & Events
- Represent Fidelius at professional networking events and client engagements.
- Build and sustain relationships with:
- Introducers (financial professionals)
- Trade and financial press
- External partners (for brand visibility and opportunities)
- Assist the Director of Corporate Development in direct-to-client initiatives.
- Manage corporate events (planning, supplier liaising, invitations, hosting).
- Facilitate logistical arrangements for the Bath Rugby hospitality box (core responsibility for match coverage and employee networking).
- Oversee branding and marketing materials, including:
- Brochures, event invitations, e-newsletters, mailshots.
- Merchandise and printing livelihoods.
- Manage Fidelius Medical branding (triage team + financial advisers).
- Liaise with BMA Marketing & Partnerships to drive medical-related traffic.
- Host webinars, managing pre/post events, delivery, and recording content.

Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- GDPR (data handling and storage).
- FCA Consumer Duty.
- Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and internal governance standards.
- Monitor and adjust communications to ensure they’re client-centric under regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager within a similar financial advice or professional services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Adobe InDesign (and/or core Creative Suite).
- Social media marketing and strategy.
- Website content management and SEO best practices.
- Mastery of:
- Copywriting, proofreading, and content editing.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Hands-on experience in:
- Running marketing/PR campaigns.
- Managing third-party service relationships.
- Organising corporate/client networking events.
- Creating direct-to-client (D2C) marketing materials.
- Exceptional executive support skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations confidently.
