Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover Contract)
We're partnering with an established consumer brand seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
The role involves leading a team of four, shaping marketing strategy, delivering integrated campaigns, and collaborating with agency partners to drive brand awareness and commercial success.
This opportunity suits candidates who thrive on balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and enjoy working within a well-known consumer brand with an exciting product portfolio.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you’ll:
- Shape and execute the marketing strategy to support brand growth and commercial objectives.
- Oversee a digitally-focused campaign approach, integrating channels such as:
- Paid media
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Digital advertising
- Work with specialist agencies to:
- Plan marketing campaigns
- Manage budgets
- Monitor performance
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead wider marketing activity across the business, ensuring alignment of campaigns and successful market debuts for new initiatives.
- Direct a team of four, providing leadership, mentoring, and managing priorities within a fast-paced marketing function.

About You
Ideally, you’re currently working in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role in a B2C business with experience leading both people and projects.
Key requirements include:
- Strong experience in strategic digital marketing, covering:
- Paid media
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Digital campaigns
- Knowledge of managing external marketing/creative agencies.
- Clarity in team leadership and development within marketing roles.
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder management.
- A passion for photography and camera technology (industry experience preferred but not mandatory—enthusiasm for the product is a plus!).

Location
Based in Bedford with the flexibility to:
- Drive to the office three days a week (remaining time can be worked from home if preferred).
- Makes the role commutable from neighbouring regions including Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Luton, Northampton, Hitchin, St Neots, Stevenage, and Huntingdon.
