Marketing Manager – Brochures & Publications

Marketing Manager (Publications) – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

We are looking for a highly organised Marketing Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end management process for all Wickes publications, including brochures, promotional leaflets, and seasonal flyers. The role is operational, focusing on the strategic leadership of these assets—ensuring seamless delivery from concept to store distribution while maintaining brand alignment.

Rather than managing the technical artwork, you’ll own the production process, working closely with the internal creative team, briefing their work, and coordinating cross-functional input to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Process Ownership

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of publication production: from strategic briefing to in-house studio development, proofing, and final store distribution.
  • Oversee project timelines and milestones to guarantee on-time, on-budget delivery for all print materials.

Creative Briefing & Collaboration

  • Develop and clearly communicate strategic briefs for creative teams, ensuring trend-led photography, CGI imagery, and design align with Wickes brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with in-house design and art teams to iteratively refine concepts until they meet required standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the central point of contact between Marketing, Commercial, Retail Operations, and other departments to align inputs and resolve conflicts.
  • Act as the brand gatekeeper, ensuring all creative output adheres to visual and tonal guidelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
