WHO WE ARE:

At CloserStill, we strive to deliver the best. We’re on a mission to be the most dynamic B2B events and communities business in every market we serve, bringing people together to learn, connect and grow.

Operating across five regions, we power over 200 market-leading events, publications and brands across Business Technologies, Healthcare, Learning, HR & Education, and Future Transport & Infrastructure.

But what truly sets us apart is our people. Our teams are diverse, driven, and united by a shared commitment to excellence. Rooted in our core values of ownership, empathy, teamwork, integrity, and determination, we empower every employee to grow, shape their own path and make a meaningful impact.

Joining CloserStill means being part of something bigger - not just building events, but creating opportunities, connections, and lasting value for the communities we serve.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

CloserStill is a dynamic, fast-growing company that owns some of the UK's most successful trade shows. All our events have significant growth in both sales and delegate attendance, and this is no accident. We have a team of the most dedicated and talented people in the industry, and award-winning marketers. We are seeking someone looking for an opportunity to join a marketing-led company that invests in its brands. We particularly want to see evidence of contributing to the development of marketing plans. Experience in marketing events is not a prerequisite, but the candidate must demonstrate project management on an extensive scale and experience managing direct reports.

THE ROLE:

The purpose of this role is to help produce and deliver the marketing strategy promoting our events to delegates and exhibitors. You will be a fluent English speaker working across the marketing mix to promote our dentistry events, taking place in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Group Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and Event Director plus the wider team to develop and implement marketing strategy, positioning, key messages and product strategy.
  • Execute the marketing campaign(s) and report on effectiveness and results, ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria.
  • Manage the creative/design process for marketing material, including updating existing materials and creating new material in line with the marketing strategy.
  • Work with the sales team to create sales campaigns focused on both new client growth and increased client retention, including messaging to drive revenue across all products such as digital, sponsorships and future revenue opportunities.
  • Develop strategic audience development plans and ensure marketing communications accurately reflect event positioning and key messaging. Lead on messaging and writing for outbound reach to customers.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies and compelling materials for all revenue streams across live and digital products.
  • Work in partnership with the Content Lead to develop and align the content and marketing strategy, with regular checkpoints throughout the campaign.
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead on the planning, delivery and execution of the event app, as well as any virtual/hybrid proposition.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders, including Content Leads, have reviewed external marketing materials before sign-off, to maintain editorial consistency across show brands.
  • Regularly review the marketing plan, response rates/KPIs, attendee demographics and industry best practices, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
  • Oversee and execute community building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, brand affinity and audience experience.
  • Manage database and list development, with support from the business intelligence and data teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of key marketing statistics and forecasts.
  • Manage marketing budgets and purchase orders, liaising with Finance on reporting requirements.
  • Manage all planning and execution of the registration process for visitors.
  • Own delivery of delegate, visitor and attendee revenue generation, including development of pricing strategies and reporting.
  • Support the Group Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and Event Director in determining and executing business development strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
