Job Title: Marketing Manager

Reports into: Head of Padel

Location: Cotswolds / Greater London (Hybrid - ability to travel to site at least 1 day / week)

Company Description

Padel Shift is a fast-growing padel developer and operator on a mission to bring best in class padel experiences to communities across the UK. We're not just building courts, we're building a community around one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

With two sites already live in the Cotswolds and new locations in the pipeline, we're at an exciting early stage of growth; moving quickly, thinking boldly and putting community at the heart of everything we do. From grassroots social play to corporate and brand events, Padel Shift is creating the spaces and experiences that make padel accessible, social and genuinely exciting for everyone.

We're a small, ambitious team that moves fast and takes ownership. If you want to be part of something from the ground up and help shape what it becomes, Padel Shift is the place to do it.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will be the sole owner of Padel Shift's marketing function, with real autonomy and the opportunity to shape how a fast-growing padel brand shows up across everything it does.

You will own the day-to-day and month-to-month marketing output across all Padel Shift sites, existing and new - managing landlord marketing relationships, driving CRM, leading on social media content, handling corporate and brand events and playing a central role in launching new sites as the business scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is not a role for someone who needs a large team around them or a detailed brief to get started. You will be a self-starter who takes ownership, makes smart decisions independently and gets things done. You will work closely with the Head of Padel on a day-to-day basis and report into them to ensure alignment with the wider business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • 360 Marketing & Campaigns - Develop integrated campaigns supporting acquisition, retention and revenue across key areas of CRM, Social Media and Events.
  • CRM & Email - Own and manage the CRM platform; plan and deliver email communications at site level and across the Padel Shift brand.
  • Website - Maintain and update website copy across all pages; ensure content is accurate, engaging and up to date.
  • Content & Social - Lead the monthly content strategy across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn; own the content calendar and take hands-on responsibility for filming, editing and posting content (using iPhone) for the grid and stories where needed.
  • Club Partnerships - Liaise with site level marketing teams (Daylesford and Elkstone Studios) to maximise presence and cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Corporate / Brand Events - Manage corporate and brand events on the ground and outreach to gain event leads where necessary.
  • New Site Launches - Own the 100-day launch plan from a marketing perspective: PR, content, social, CRM and events for up and coming new sites.

  • Comfortable managing on-court events at community, corporate and brand level.
  • A genuine self-starter who takes ownership, works independently and sees a lean structure as an exciting opportunity.
