Marketing Manager – UK & Ireland Market

TheHappyRecruiter (THR) is recruiting on behalf of its client, a recognised international FMCG company, for a Marketing Manager – UK & Ireland Market, based in Luxembourg.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FMCG marketing professional to take ownership of the UK & Ireland marketing strategy while joining a successful and internationally established organisation.

You will become part of the international marketing team and play a key role in driving brand performance across the UK and Ireland markets, with a high level of autonomy and ownership. The position is based at the company's headquarters in Luxembourg, offering an international working environment.

Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available for candidates relocating to Luxembourg.

Your Role

Reporting directly to the International Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the UK & Ireland markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans for the UK & Ireland markets in line with the company's global strategy.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour and competitive activity.
  • Monitor market performance and prepare regular business reports.
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns across offline and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on online communication initiatives.
  • Define media strategies together with external media agencies.
  • Manage relationships with creative, media, PR and event agencies.
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events and marketing activations.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to prepare customer presentations and commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor budgets, marketing investments and campaign performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise marketing activities and improve business results.
  • Present marketing plans and business results to senior management.
  • Manage and coach one direct report.
  • Contribute to additional marketing projects as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or a related field.
  • Around 7+ years of marketing experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing 360° marketing campaigns.
  • Experience supporting or leading marketing activities for the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights and market analysis.
  • Experience working with media and creative agencies.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience using NielsenIQ and/or Circana (formerly IRI) market data is highly desirable.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to Luxembourg.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK.
