Marketing Manager - Exhibitions
Location: Essex, UK (Full-Time, Onsite)
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 DOE
We're recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join one of the UK's leading exhibition organisers. Following an internal promotion, this is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on the marketing strategy for a well-established, high-profile exhibition, driving visitor attendance, exhibitor engagement, and brand awareness.

The Role
As Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that maximise audience growth and commercial success. Working closely with the sales, operations, and creative teams, you'll ensure campaigns are engaging, data-driven, and deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Drive visitor registration, exhibitor engagement, and sponsor awareness.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, social media, website content, and PR activity.
- Create compelling marketing content, including copy, graphics, and promotional materials.
- Plan and manage paid digital campaigns, including PPC, SEO, and paid social.
- Analyse campaign performance and optimise activity using marketing data and insights.
- Manage campaign budgets and maximise return on investment.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver successful campaigns.
- Lead, support, and develop members of the marketing team where required.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and identify new opportunities to grow the event.

About You
You'll be a confident and commercially minded marketer with previous experience promoting exhibitions or large-scale events.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous marketing experience within exhibitions, trade shows, or events.
- A background in either the construction or consumer exhibitions sector is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing knowledge, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and PPC.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
- Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and improve performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional organisation with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, creative, and results-driven approach.
