Marketing Manager

Senior Marketing Manager – Surgical & Minimally Invasive Technologies

Endoscopic and stapling expertise is critical for success in this strategic yet hands-on marketing leadership role. This high-impact position offers full autonomy to shape and expand the marketing function to drive commercial growth, product adoption, and market share.

About the Role

As a Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of marketing for a portfolio of surgical and minimally invasive technologies, with a laser focus on endoscopic stapling solutions.

This is a full-time permanent role blending strategic planning with on-the-ground delivery. With strong management support, you will have the freedom to:

  • Shape and evolve the marketing function as the business scales
  • Collaborate closely with sales, clinical, and executive teams
  • Drive product launches, market development, and commercial growth
  • Build key relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, and medical opinion leaders

The organisation is rapidly expanding and pursuing aggressive growth plans. This creates immediate influence, with unprecedented scope to construct and expand the marketing function for future impact.

Location

Based in Leatherhead, with field travel required. Candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the South East (UK).

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement data-driven market strategies for surgical and endoscopic stapling products
    • Oversee competitive analysis, market positioning, and brand messaging
  • Product Launches & Engagement:
    • Lead high-impact product launches
    • Coordinate clinical engagement programmes and surgeon KOL partnerships
    • Support the market development agenda
  • Sales & Commercial Alignment:
    • Partner with sales leaders to deliver sales enablement tools
    • Ensure product adoption and commercial growth through targeted campaigns
  • Collaborative Leadership:
    • Contribute to long-term brand and marketing roadmaps
    • Actively prepare marketing for subsequent business expansion phases

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Proven medical device marketing experience
    • Essential hands-on knowledge of endoscopic stapling and minimally invasive portfolios
  • Experience:
    • Success in product launches and market development
    • Experience engaging surgeons, theatre teams and KOLs for adoption support
  • Skills & Mindset:
    • Strong commercial acumen with data-driven decision making
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit, ready to take ownership of strategic activities
