About Us
We’re a proudly independent restaurant group celebrating incredible local cheese and cheesemakers through our much-loved brands — The Cheese Bar, The Cheese Barge, Pick & Cheese and Rind. With sites in London, Yorkshire and NYC we’re on a mission to champion great food, exceptional producers, and brilliant hospitality.
As we grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help shape and tell our story. This is an opportunity for the right person to take ownership of a growing brand, bring our cheese producers' stories to life, and lead creative marketing across social, digital, PR and beyond — all with a sharp eye for detail that ensures consistency, quality, and impact.
The Role
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our brand — planning and producing creative content, managing campaigns, and building relationships across the media and hospitality world. You’ll work closely with our founder and leadership team from our Farringdon HQ, with opportunities to travel to our site in Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media – Plan, write, schedule and post across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook; manage engagement and community; analyse and report performance on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Brand Storytelling – Craft engaging copy that captures our brand voice and brings our producers’ stories to life.
- Email Marketing & CRM – Own our mailing list and loyalty strategy, delivering smart, on-brand campaigns with precision.
- Website & Digital Presence – Play a key role in our website redesign project and ensure our online touch points are well executed, consistent, and effective.
- Content & Campaigns – Collaborate with our team, external content creators and freelancers to deliver eye-catching visuals and memorable campaigns.
- E-commerce & Bookings – Support delivery and reservations performance through targeted digital activity.
- Reporting & Insights – Use data to guide our strategy, backed by regular performance analysis across all channels.
- Agency Collaboration – Manage day-to-day relationships with PR and creative agencies, ensuring alignment on messaging, goals and brand strategy.
- Public Relations – Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers and industry partners. Manage PR campaigns to secure media coverage and enhance our public image.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
