Based in Manchester, this permanent full-time role is an opportunity to shape campaigns that bring matchdays, concerts and major stadium events to life for Fans and visitors. You will help drive attendance, engagement and commercial performance across tickets, hospitality, memberships, activations, experiences and food and beverage, working across the wider matchday journey to make each event feel connected, compelling and easy to engage with.

Within our Matchday and Major Stadium Events team, we create marketing activity that connects Fans and audiences with the full Etihad Campus event experience. From football fixtures to concerts and major events, our work supports audience growth, commercial priorities and memorable moments across every stage of the matchday and event journey.
The Role
As Matchday Marketing Manager, you will plan, coordinate and deliver integrated campaigns that support matchday attendance, fan engagement and commercial outcomes across football fixtures, concerts and major stadium events. Working within the strategy set by the Matchday Marketing leadership team, you will help turn audience insight and campaign priorities into clear, joined-up activity across multiple channels and touchpoints.
You will support marketing across match tickets, premium hospitality, memberships and subscriptions, matchday experiences and activations, food and beverage, and related Medlock Square activity. This includes coordinating campaigns across digital, CRM, social, web and paid media, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within agreed parameters and in line with operational requirements and brand standards.

Collaboration will be central to the role. You will work closely with CRM, Content, Social Media, Digital, Data and Insights, Commercial, Product, Operations, Activations and external partners where needed. You will also monitor campaign performance, use insight and feedback to support continuous improvement, and help ensure the wider matchday experience is presented consistently and effectively to new and existing audiences.
What You’ll Bring
- ⚽ Experience delivering marketing campaigns in sport, entertainment, hospitality, live events or another consumer-facing environment.
- ⚽ Experience coordinating integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, with an understanding of CRM, social, web or paid media touchpoints.
- ⚽ Ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, approvals and priorities in a well-organised and collaborative way.
- ⚽ Understanding of fan engagement, audience growth and customer-focused marketing activity.
- ⚽ Clear and effective communication skills, with experience working across internal teams, stakeholders and external partners.
- ⚽ Ability to use campaign insight, performance data and feedback to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
