Marketing Manager - Nordics/Benelux

Marketing Manager - Nordics/Benelux East London, UK (Hybrid: Up to 4 remote days, weekly in-office days with travel for trade events and retailer meetings)

About the Role MacGregor Black is partnering with a growing consumer brand to fill this hybrid UK-based role. As Marketing Manager - Nordics/Benelux, you’ll architect the brand’s presence across:

  • The UK, with demand for expansion into Europe (focusing on Germany, France)
  • Supporting Middle East & African Distribution

Guided by global leadership, you’ll:

  • Develop bold marketing strategies with autonomy and resources.
  • Elevate the brand to a household name for parents across these markets.
  • Bridge global strategy and local nuances, translating headquarters plans into market-specific campaigns.
  • Pioneer market entry in France, prioritising a digital-first approach.
  • Build key partnerships (retailers and influencers) to drive results.
  • Represent the brand at major trade events like Kind + Jugend.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Growth

  • Lead brand-building initiatives—including PR/media partnerships, Khablista x Brand Collaborations, parent communities, consumer shows, and key opinion leader engages, ensuring alignment between global ambitions and local market realities.
  • Work closely with the global Head of Brand & Communications to refine execution plans.

Market Entry & Expansion

  • Establish the brand in France via a digital-first strategy, securing retail partnerships (trade specific) and KEY consumer placements.

Relationship Management

  • Own marketing partnerships with major retailers and distributors:
    • Coordinate quarterly brand updates and co-marketing planning.
    • Liaise with agencies (local options specifically) to ensure seamless brand representation.
    • Enforce brand standards across all touchpoints.
  • Serve as the primary go-to contact within the Nordics/Benelux trade landscape, attending key industry events.

Campaign & Calendar Coordination

  • Manage the Nordics/Benelux marketing calendar (end-to-end):
    • Always-on BAU presentations, new product launches.
    • Seasonal promotions and Amazon, Wholesale, and UK/EU go-to-market series.
    • Align sales, marketing, and consumer-facing messaging.

Trade Marketing & Budget

  • Hold full ownership of the region’s trade marketing budget, investing in brand-building spend across channels.
  • Work directly with the Head of Brand to maximise ROI from every pound.

Insight-Driven Strategy

  • Gather, analyse, and translate consumer and competitor data into actionable insights, embedding feedback into future strategies.

Requirements & Qualities

Experience & Expertise Proven consumer goods marketing track record in:

  • Omnichannel brand-building (focus on baby, toddler, or parenting niches).
  • Experience scaling initiatives across media, PR, brand collaborations, and digital.
  • Demonstratable results in trade marketing, preferably in UK/EU markets, including managing retailer relationships.

  • Able to build and adapt assets (confidence with Canva, AI tools, and A/B copy).
