About Red Lion Chambers

We are an award-winning set of barristers’ chambers based in London and East Anglia, and are the professional home of over 110 barristers who are instructed by prosecution agencies, as well as corporate or individual defendants, in cases of Serious and Complex Crime, Business Crime and Fraud, Regulatory Crime, Professional Discipline, Inquests and Public Inquiries, International Crime, and Public and Administrative Law. Our cases are regularly in the news, and include some of the most serious matters to come before the courts.

We are a friendly, inclusive set which is committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion, and are committed to charitable, outreach, and social mobility programmes to ensure our members and staff reflect the communities they serve.

About the role

This is a hands-on Marketing Manager role for someone who has already shown they can manage projects, work independently, build trusted relationships, and is now ready to take on a broader role with ownership of day-to-day marketing activity. It is likely to suit someone on an upward trajectory who, even if they have not performed all of the requirements set out below, has the potential, judgement, and enthusiasm to grow into the role.

The successful candidate will have confidence, good writing skills, and will understand digital marketing. Good time management, attention to detail, and an ability to work under pressure are key skills.

Reporting to and working closely with the Client & Business Development Director, and working with our PR & Communications Consultant and practice management team, you will help shape and deliver marketing activity across events, website, content, branding, digital channels, legal directories and industry awards, and client mailing lists.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
