Marketing Manager (Research and Enterprise)
Join our friendly Research and Enterprise Marketing team
We need someone who enjoys turning their hand to a variety of projects. Working as part of a small team, you'll contribute to a range of collaborations to enhance the university’s reputation by improving brand perception with core audiences, increasing income, and enhancing the understanding of new knowledge making a real difference to the world.
Collaborating with senior leaders and academics, you’ll investigate a variety of projects, understand their target markets, and develop compelling and competitive propositions for them. To deliver ambitious plans, you’ll engage with a network of specialist experts in commercial, digital, and communications teams.
About the Role
You’ll play a critical role in delivering the university’s research and enterprise strategic plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing marketing operations within a large and complex organisation
- Developing plans based on data and insights
- Creating innovative marketing solutions
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with academic and professional service stakeholders
- Collaborating across internal and external teams to deliver marketing plans effectively
- Increasing brand perception, revenue, and knowledge dissemination

About You
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience in marketing operations planning and implementation
- Can demonstrate an ability to analyse data and develop data-driven strategies
- Show creativity and innovation in designing solutions
- Are exceptional at relationship-building and proactive working
- Can engage effectively with academic, organisational, and external stakeholders
A background in higher education is not essential, and we welcome applications from professionals with marketing experience in the commercial sector.
