Role: Marketing Manager
Salary: £40k- £45k DOE
Hours: Flexible between 7am-6pm Monday to Thursday & work 9am-12:30 on Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Our client is an environmentally focused technology business, at the forefront of innovation.
Working as part of a small team, the Marketing Manager will support the Category and Marketing Director and work with the Marketing Associate to deliver the marketing and communications strategy to bring visibility and awareness. An exciting, dynamic, and varied role, you will wear multiple hats to implement a variety of marketing disciplines from digital marketing, events, and partnerships through to supporting the go-to-market strategy and developing commercial tools.
We’re looking for an all-rounder, hands-on Marketing Manager to own and drive all marketing efforts from the ground up across the full marketing mix. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on autonomy, experimentation, and wearing multiple hats.
You will be detail-oriented and collaborative, able to deliver projects on time with a creative flair. A key part of the role is producing engaging, high-quality copy across a variety of channels, tailoring messaging to different audiences while ensuring consistency of tone and brand voice. You will have a strong understanding of multiple marketing and communication disciplines, including digital marketing, content creation, copywriting, events, and partnerships. An excellent communicator with exceptional written English, you will be confident creating compelling content that raises awareness, supports commercial objectives, and effectively communicates our client's value proposition. With varied responsibilities, you will need to be flexible, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously when required.

Responsibilities
- Coordination and support for the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications that underpin the marketing strategy.
- Support and deliver various commercial tools, such as presentations and brochures, writing and creating content in conjunction with the commercial team.
- Analysis and reporting of the market landscape, opportunities, trends including competitor analysis and comparisons.
- Liaison and close working with our creative marketing agency.
- Line management of the Marketing Associate.
- Write, edit, and proofread compelling marketing copy across a range of channels, including website content, brochures, presentations, email campaigns, social media, case studies, press releases, and thought leadership articles.
- Develop clear, engaging messaging that reflects customer pain points and effectively communicates product features, benefits, and USPs to multiple target audiences.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure all written content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the brand tone of voice.

Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a fast-paced and dynamic marketing environment ideally within Textiles, IT, Tech, Industrial, Manufacturing, Engineering, or similar environments.
- Good working knowledge and ability to work with the Microsoft suite of products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience in delivering visual marketing assets and materials such as presentations, animations, imagery, and infographics.
- Experience in working with and managing an external marketing agency.
- Ability to identify customer ‘pain points’ and translate these through to messaging that resonates to highlight our technology features, benefits, and USPs.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional written English and a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to create engaging marketing content for both digital and offline channels, adapting tone and messaging for different audiences.
- Experience translating technical or complex information into clear, compelling, customer-focused communications.
ADVANTAGEOUS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Experience in Apparel or Textile industries.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat & Photoshop.
