Job Description

Job Summary

As part of the Global Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) Marketing Team, you will be responsible for providing holistic marketing support across the SMB business segment. You will collaborate with sales, product, strategy, and other business teams to develop and deploy marketing campaigns and other activity, to assist in the go-to-market strategy. Your ability to collaborate is critical to your success, and you will be the biggest advocate for the Visa brand – in everything you work on. The role requires digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior marketing team members with the planning, development, and delivery of marketing activities, strategy, and messaging for Visa Commercial Solutions’ SMB segment.
  • Create sales enablement collateral and pitch materials, develop marketing assets for all stages of the funnel, and activate targeted campaigns.
  • Collaborate, maintain key relationships, and help manage timeline dependencies with global and regional teams including marketing, product, sales, communications, and other colleagues across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party agencies.
  • Deploy key thought leadership campaigns across the SMB segment, measure, and optimize results.
  • Research market insights and consumer trends to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Analyse data to identify marketing opportunities, refine product marketing strategies, and improve customer engagement.
  • Provide administrative support for the team in areas such as purchase order management, supplier invoices, budget & spend tracking, reporting, and measurement of activities.
  • Work with online tools, such as Figma, to build creative and branded templates for both the global and regional teams.
  • Help define success metrics and KPIs for campaigns, and continuously optimize based on performance data.
  • Be a Visa brand advocate.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, consulting, market research, insights, marketing analytics, business analytics, corporate, or agency environments.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with many stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience uncovering insights using multiple sources of data, identifying trends, outliers, and limitations.
  • Experience organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Global sensibilities and an empathetic outlook to work well with other markets and cultures around the world.
  • A great team member who adds energy, ideas, and fun to our team and corporate culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payments or financial institutions.
  • Experience managing senior-level stakeholder feedback.
  • Experience partnering with senior-level business leaders to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working independently within complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience handling and prioritizing multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
