Job Description: Marketing Manager
CRB Cunninghams is the only UK provider with their own identity management, cashless catering, and online payment solutions, supported by a national service and support team. Our education solutions are used in over 3,000 schools across the UK to help them run efficient and effective meal and nutritional programs as well as providing a cashless solution to aid in the payment of those items, to help reduce the use of cash and the issues associated with it. Our mission is to help our schools throughout the UK become cashless and benefit from the numerous effects this brings, such as reduced debt, food waste reduction and free school meal anonymity to name just a few.
POSITION
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Marketing Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be good at managing their time whilst working on a range of marketing campaigns, generate awareness of new events, products and services; with a keen eye for design and the ability to work to deadlines. It is important that the candidate can work on their own initiative, well within the team, acting as a mentor to team members, while reporting directly to the Sales Director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Manager is an excellent writer and is always connected to our sales and marketing efforts. Typical projects include:
- Key focus on lead generation and reporting against target.
- Executing effective lead generation campaigns to deliver the leads required to meet the annual sales target.
- Responsible for weekly, monthly and ¼ reporting.
- Develop strategies and tactics to drive leads and customer engagement/retention.
- Develop and deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea to execution.
- Experiment and measure with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
- Continual improvement and learning into new lead generation activities.
- Manage marketing team members day to day and assisting with the campaigns they are working to deliver.
- Support integrated campaigns and communication activities.
- Managing performance: ability to track/monitor project process against plan.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to report ROI and key marketing stats.
- Understanding of brand, marketing and communication principles, coupled with a strong commercial drive and the ability to deliver high-value marketing activities that deliver return on investment.
- Managing and creating content for the website.
- Creating and designing email marketing content that is in line with brand guidelines.
- Creating Social Media content and nurturing followers.
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation through content/keyword.
- Website performance monitoring.
- Communication plans for new product launches.
- Press releases for events, new products, and customer case studies.
- Liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure effective implementation of marketing activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Experience in B2B marketing.
- A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Has managed or mentored team members.
- Ability to use initiative and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrable creative ability.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- A basic understanding of integrated marketing operations.
Desirable:
- Understanding of SalesForce or other CRM software.
Successful candidates will have a proactive, optimistic, “can do”, solutions-driven approach that is both pragmatic and commercially viable. Excellent team player, with strong demonstrable evidence of influencing as well as the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships.
