Marketing Manager – Maternity Cover
Location: London
Type: Full-time, fixed-term contract (12-month maternity cover)
Working pattern: Hybrid (remote with the occasional office day in London as required), Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary: Up to £62,000 per annum
About Innovate Care Group:
We're setting the new standard in complex care. Our mission is to transform healthcare by integrating innovative technology with expert, holistic, customised care, for adults and children within their own homes. We work hand-in-hand with our clients and their families, empowering them to achieve new heights, experience life to the fullest and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
At Innovate Care Group, we promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among our internal staff, encouraging creativity, initiative, and teamwork. Our goal is to create a dynamic and inclusive work environment where every team member feels motivated, engaged, and empowered to contribute to the success of our organisation and the well-being of our clients.
Role overview:
As our Marketing Manager (maternity cover), you will own the entire marketing function across our healthcare brands -primarily Innovate Care Group and, secondarily, Aspect Healthcare (permanent healthcare recruitment, Disability Assessor market). Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll set the strategy, drive the plan and deliver it end to end, operating with autonomy and a direct line to the Commercial Director and CEO.
This is a broad generalist role covering marketing strategy, campaign planning, content, creative, recruitment advertising, business development support, website management, brand awareness and performance analysis. Working closely with senior stakeholders, recruitment consultants, operations, sales teams and external suppliers, you will ensure marketing supports commercial growth, candidate attraction, customer engagement and the continued development of both brands.
As the Group's sole marketing function, you will confidently own multiple projects at once, balance competing priorities and deliver across both B2C and B2B audiences. This is a high-autonomy role in a fast-paced environment for someone who wants to shape marketing their way to directly support business growth.
Our values:
Our team are expected to uphold a set of core values that guide every aspect of our business. These values reflect our dedication not just to meeting, but exceeding, the expectations of those we support, while nurturing an environment of growth and excellence within the healthcare industry.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
