Marketing Officer

Location: Belfast City Centre

Salary: £25,500 per annum OTE £26,775

Start Date: 3rd August

Contract: Full Time

Working Pattern: Office-Based (5 Days Per Week - 1 day at home per week following successful probation period)

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Marketing Officer to join our Marketing and Public Affairs team. This exciting role combines traditional marketing responsibilities with project administration and stakeholder engagement, supporting both Staffline's wider marketing activities and the delivery of a cross-border PEACEPLUS funded skills project.

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing and Public Affairs Director, the Marketing Officer will support the planning, delivery, and administration of marketing campaigns, events, and communications activities, while also assisting with the administration and reporting requirements of a PEACEPLUS funded cross-border skills project.

The successful candidate will play a key role in content creation, campaign delivery, stakeholder communications, event coordination, and project compliance, ensuring activities are delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Assist in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across job boards, digital, social media, email, and print channels.
  • Create engaging content for websites, social media platforms, newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Support the management of Staffline's social media channels and online presence.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist with website updates and content management.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on marketing activity and engagement metrics.
  • Support internal communications and employer branding initiatives.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate and support marketing events, job fairs, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, venues, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Assist with promotional campaigns and attendee communications.
  • Support the delivery of cross-border project events and training activities.

Project Administration & Compliance

  • Support the administration of the PEACEPLUS funded project in line with programme requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation to audit standard.
  • Assist with project reporting, monitoring, and data collection activities.
  • Support JEMS reporting and project documentation submissions.
  • Assist with procurement administration and compliance documentation.
  • Support financial tracking and project monitoring requirements.
  • Ensure all project records are maintained in accordance with funding and compliance requirements.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong administrative and record-keeping capabilities.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience coordinating events, training programmes, or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar design and editing tools.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics, website content management systems, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience supporting publicly funded, PEACEPLUS, Interreg, or similar funded projects.
  • Familiarity with JEMS or similar grant management and reporting systems.
