Location: Maidstone | On-site initially – Hybrid (2-3 days in-office post-probation)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 pa, DOE

About the Role
A unique opportunity to build and scale a revenue growth engine from the ground up. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the Marketing Operations Lead will take ownership of CRM, marketing operations, and funnel design, creating a scalable infrastructure that maximises pipeline and performance.
Once established, the focus will shift to continuous improvement, automation, and AI-led optimisation—rather than day-to-day campaign execution.
Responsibilities

Funnel & Marketing Operations
- Own and optimise the end-to-end marketing funnel, from first engagement to sales handover.
- Design and build a scalable revenue growth engine, refining stages like lead qualifying logic, routing, and conversion journeys to drive pipeline performance.

Salesforce & Marketing Technology
- Lead the optimisation and continuous improvement of marketing tech stack (including Salesforce).
- Ensure seamless tool integration, robust lifecycle management, accurate attribution, and a sustainable foundation for future growth.

Campaign Operations & Attribution
- Establish best-practice processes for campaign setup, tracking, and performance measurement—guaranteeing measurable, consistent alignment to revenue goals.
- Transition campaign execution/monitoring to specialist roles over time.

Lead Management & Nurture
- Design and implement lead scoring, qualification, and nurture frameworks for sales-ready progression, with clear, scalable handoffs between Marketing and Sales.

Marketing Automation & AI Enablement
- Implement workflow and marketing automation, identifying AI tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.

Data Quality & Governance
- Embed high standards for data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across CRM and marketing systems, establishing robust governance.

Reporting & Performance Insight
- Build and implement reporting frameworks and dashboards providing clear funnel visibility and actionable insights. Enable teams to self-serve performance data while identifying optimisation opportunities.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Projects
- Serve as the SME for marketing operations, identifying ways to enhance systems, processes, and performance.
- Lead future marketing ops and revenue optimisation projects as the function evolves.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Background in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or CRM-led roles within a B2B environment.
- Funnel & Process Expertise: Strong grasp of marketing funnels, lifecycle management, and lead processes—with a focus on designing scalable frameworks.
- CRM & Martech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce (or equivalent CRMs) and marketing automation/campaign tracking.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable working with data, reporting, and attribution, able to drive performance insights into actionable improvements.
- Process-Driven & Detail-Obsessed: Track record of systems/workflow efficiency improvements and improving operational best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Soft skills to align and influence across cross-functional teams, from senior leadership to operations.
- Forward-Thinking: Proactive, innovative mindset, especially with AI tools to boost marketing scalability and effectiveness.
- Commutability: Must live within reasonable travel distance—role starts fully on-site, transitions to hybrid after initial scaling success.
