Marketing Operations Manager Location: London Employment Type: Permanent Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
About the Role
As our Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll drive our go-to-market (GTM) operations, ensuring smooth data flows, optimised workflows, and measurable campaign performance. This role at the heart of our FY27 strategy accelerates GTM execution through AI-powered automation, refining systems to speed leads through the funnel—freeing the broader team to focus on high-impact strategies.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Revenue, Product, and Revenue Operations teams, ensuring human insights seamlessly translate into pipeline growth. It’s a hybrid role blending technical Martech expertise with a customer-centric mindset—balancing day-to-day operations with innovative solutions that push boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Stewardship
- Run and optimise the GTM tech stack, including automation workflows, CRM integrations, and AI-driven systems.
- Own the HubSpot and Salesforce stack, ensuring lifecycle stages, lead statuses, deduplication, and data cleanliness across both platforms.
- Maintain Kam Throughoutness with error-free syncs, lifecycle stage accurate progressions, and regularly audited data hygiene.
AI-Driven Dynamic Campaigns
- Building agentic workflows, harnessing AI like Claude (or its peers—e.g., ChatGPT/Gemini) and tools like Clay, Zapier, and workflow automation to automate repetitive tasks, enhance lead enrichment, and refine routing.
- Use case automation: Sales enrichment workflows via Clay. Dynamic nurture paths powered by AI agents. Creative enablement automation.
- Enable real-time attribution, automating DreamData for multi-touch and allbound account-level pipeline insights. Create standard reporting for leadership and the board.
- Speed up lead velocity, tuning LeanData/Clay-based scoring and routing with AI-powered checks to minimise errors and prioritise high-value leads.
Process & Technology Ownership
- Design operational workflows—templatising clear, structured SOP docs in Notion and creating best practice guides for martech adoption.
- Unify account signals—capture and scale integration of third-party intent data, website behaviour, and product engagement, blending them dynamically into the scoring engine.
- Lift campaign execution—set up, test, and automate align Salesforce + HubSpot campaigns across Qualified/Goldcast and their native platforms—always paired with meaningful measurement.
- General Martech administration: Access management, seat permissions, tool renewals, licence monitoring—compliance and upkeep included.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure the technical roadmap drives repetition and rigor.
What You’ll Need
Core Technical Expertise
- Martech fluency, with HubSpot admin skills as the unquestioned anchor (think lifecycle-building, scoring elasticity, workflow automations).
- Experienced across multiple categories in this stack:
- Marketing automation: HubSpot (advanced), Marketo, Pardot

Mindset & Scalability Focus
- Treat GTM as a external-facing R&D lab: rapid prototyping of emergent agentic workflows before showcasing value.
- Not a renegade, not “just changing CCs”—advises on data densities, routing angles, and funnel disciplines. You empathise with sales ops, product, marketers and build to their constraints.
- Data literacy. You learn anew how PIPELINES work and palletise automation without flankering larger commercial imperatives.
- You believe in seamless ownership. Gleriant sysops guidance—write docs, run retrospectives, and know your Forrster recommendations to lounge on.
