About The Role
This role ensures that BT Business marketing operates as one joined-up system rather than a set of disconnected activities. By bringing together plans from across Product Marketing, Brand, Segments, Growth, Customer Marketing and Investment, the Marketing Planning Integration Manager creates a single, coherent view of what we are doing, why it matters, and how it delivers for customers and the business.
The role is critical in driving clarity, alignment and accountability at pace. It ensures we avoid duplication, close gaps, and manage peaks of activity so that customers experience a consistent, high-quality journey rather than fragmented communications. It also provides leadership with a clear line of sight on priorities, trade-offs and risks, enabling better, faster decision-making.
By maintaining a live, usable plan and actively challenging misalignment, this role helps maximise the impact of marketing, improves delivery confidence, and ensures that our plans reflect the customer experience we want to create – not just the activity we intend to run.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bring the marketing plan together – integrate inputs from Product marketing, Brand, Segments, Growth and Customer marketing and Investment into a single, coherent end-to-end plan.
- Ensure the plan connects – identify overlaps, gaps and misalignment across teams so activity works as one joined-up whole.
- Maintain a live, usable high level plan – keep the plan up to date as priorities change, clearly showing dependencies and implications.
- Surface risks and opportunities – provide recommendations by identifying opportunities for alignment and managing intensity and consistency.
- Support leadership decision-making – present a clear, joined-up view so priorities can be confidently set.
- Advise on alignment to the customer vision – ensure the plan reflects the experience we want to deliver.
- Drive accountability for delivery – track progress, challenge where off track, and ensure actions are followed through.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
