As the Marketing Planning & Media Executive, you will support the day-to-day delivery of marketing planning and media activities across SkyShowtime. Your role will be to focus on coordinating inputs across teams and partners, supporting in reporting and analysis, and helping ensure planning, media, and MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling) processes run smoothly. Through strong organisation and attention to detail, you will help drive momentum across key workstreams, keeping planning, media, and reporting activities organised and on track, and translating data into clear, actionable outputs for the wider business.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Internal and external coordination of teams, partners, and workflows to ensure cohesive delivery across media and measurement workstreams.
  • Assist on coordination of SST data and reporting across Regional Marketing, Central Digital & Acquisition, Commercial Trading, Data, Finance, and media / MMM partner agencies.

Media Coordination:

  • Coordination of media agency weekly status meetings, across key inputs to ensure smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
  • Support the review and alignment of media plans with the regional teams and agency.
  • Coordination of the budget reconciliation process, as well as the set-up and tracking of POs.

Planning & Performance Support:

  • Support in collating title and campaign performance data ahead of quarterly planning cycles.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Ownership of day-to-day competitive tracking, consolidating insights from agency partners, platforms, cross-functional teams, and desk research into clear, quarterly views.
  • Liaise with agency and regional teams to manage competitor spend reviews, ensuring information is accurate and trouble-shooting inaccuracies.

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant experience in either a media agency or in-house marketing function (desired industries: SVOD, Subscription-based services, TV, Entertainment).
  • Organised and structured thinker who is able to manage complex workstreams, timelines, and stakeholder touchpoints.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative to suggest improved processes and insight-driven approaches.
  • Able to interpret data & insight to identify trends in performance used to shape marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Led by curiosity, proactively approaches new projects and tasks with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are a plus.

Where You'll Work

We operate a hybrid working model, with the team office based 2 days per week. To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we ask team members to be in the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays (with flexibility on the 2nd office workday) but offering flexibility is a core value of our team and business. Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town, and Ealing Broadway tube stations. On-site parking, bike shelters, and showers/changing facilities are also available. You can benefit from all the on-site facilities at the Sky campus including: subsidised restaurants, Waitrose, gym, cinema, car wash, hair & beauty salon.
