Marketing Program Manager (Apprentice) – Microsoft Store

Overview

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Apprenticeship Level: Level 6
  • Placement Duration: 2.5 years

Role Overview

The Marketing Program Manager (Apprentice) supports the Regional Digital Store Lead in developing and executing some of the most iconic brands—such as Xbox, Surface, M365, and more.

This is the ideal role for you if you:

  • Excel in communication and collaboration across diverse stakeholders
  • Can adapt quickly, show initiative, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Project Management

    • Manage and coordinate local marketing initiatives from the regional calendar
    • Track and maintain a comprehensive marketing project calendar
  • Sales & Marketing Execution

    • Create and submit promotions for Xbox, Xbox accessories, Surface PCs, and software products
    • Analyse and publish performance reports on sales and marketing campaigns
    • Collect and document learning and best practices for continuous improvement
  • AI & Innovation

    • Capture customer feedback and recommend enhancements to marketing programs, including exploring AI features
  • Collaboration & Asset Management

    • Coordinate activities with Category, Planning, and Merchandising teams
    • Build and manage access to resources, assets, and digital content for Microsoft Store

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Full-time position open to eligible candidates who:
    • Have not yet obtained a degree
    • Hold or are obtaining appropriate Level 3 qualifications by 31 August 2026 (including A-Levels grades A-C, BTECs, T-Levels, or equivalent*)
    • Have passed 5 GCSEs (A-C or 9-4 on new grades), including Maths and English*
    • Are legally entitled to work in the UK (through citizenship, visa, or other authorised status)
