We are committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

Threshold Sports UK

In 2025, our team successfully delivered over 50 mass participation events across the UK and internationally — empowering over 60,000 people to discover what they’re capable of. These events raised more than £16 million for charity. 2026 will be another major growth year, with double-digit growth in our public events and new high‑profile partnerships across our client portfolio.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with the following strengths:

  • Planning and executing: setting objectives, planning, coordinating, managing time, budgets and resources and monitoring and reporting on progress.
  • Meeting customer expectations: focusing on customer needs and satisfaction, setting high standards and monitoring ongoing quality.
  • Applying expertise and technology: using technology to improve efficiency and quality from financial reporting to ticketing platform management and copywriting to content scheduling and more.

Your main tasks

This role sits within the marketing team and is responsible for the end-to-end participant communications experience. It suits someone looking to build a broad range of skills and allows you to develop communications, commercial, and marketing expertise as well as hone your face-to-face customer service capability.

There is scope to shape the role from a technology-first approach through to a more creative-led style, and the following are the key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver the end-to-end participant communications journeys, from sign-up to post-event follow-up, while optimising all information resources (websites, FAQs, CRM comms, and event guides).
  • Own and drive projects, setting timelines, managing delivery and budgets, and ensuring clear, accountable progress against milestones.
  • Partner with Marketing, Charity, Partnerships and Operations teams to translate key event information into clear, timely communications.
  • Manage participant data in the lead-up to events, including registration fulfilment, transport bookings and additional experience purchases.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, including merchandise providers.
  • Manage participant queries across event inboxes, social channels, and call booking systems.
  • Lead Registration and Information desks during live event weekends.
  • Deliver financial reporting and reconciliation across registrations, revenue, and forecasting.
  • Manage and support a junior team across key functions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
