As a well-established family business with a reputation built over decades, we're investing in our digital presence and customer experience—and we're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing & Sales Assistant to help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is a varied and exciting role that combines creativity, digital marketing, sales support and administration. No two days are the same.

The Role
As our Marketing & Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting the Rigby's brand, generating enquiries and supporting sales across both our showroom and online channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Plan and manage social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Create engaging photography, video content, graphics and promotional posts.
- Grow Rigby's online audience and increase customer engagement.
- Monitor social media performance and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and promotional offers.
- Help produce blogs, website content and digital advertising campaigns.

Ecommerce & Website Management
- Manage and update the Rigby's ecommerce website.
- Add new products, optimise product listings and improve customer experience.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.
- Support SEO activities to increase online visibility.
- Help generate online enquiries and sales through digital marketing initiatives.
Sales Support
- Respond to customer enquiries.
- Follow up quotations and generate new sales opportunities.
- Assist with showroom sales when required.
- Help maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales journey.
Administration
- General office administration.
- Updating customer records and databases.
- Assisting with marketing reports and sales administration.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day business activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, organised and eager to learn.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset with an eye for design.
- Experience using social media professionally.
- Confidence using Canva or similar design software.
- Basic photography and video editing skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office / G-Suite
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills
- Experience managing Shopify, WordPress or other ecommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Email marketing experience (Brevo, Mailchimp or similar).
- Basic understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for content creation.
- Experience creating short-form video content and Reels.
