Marketing Scientist / Senior Data Scientist – Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
Contract | 3-month rolling | Python | Remote/Hybrid
I'm looking for an experienced Marketing Scientist / Senior Data Scientist with strong Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) experience to support a growing analytics team working with consumer and DTC brands.
This is an opportunity to build and improve MMM solutions that help businesses understand the true impact of their marketing investment, optimize channel spend, and make better data-driven decisions.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and refining Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to measure marketing effectiveness
- Working with marketing spend, sales, and customer data to uncover insights
- Developing statistical models using Python
- Applying techniques such as regression modelling, time series analysis, adstock, and saturation modelling
- Supporting scenario planning, budget optimization, and ROI analysis
- Translating complex modelling outputs into clear commercial recommendations

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering Marketing Mix Models (MMM) in a commercial environment
- Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn or similar)
- Experience with statistical modelling, econometrics, or Bayesian approaches
- Strong understanding of marketing measurement and media effectiveness
- Ability to work independently and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:
- Experience with MMM frameworks such as Meta Robyn, Google Meridian, or LightweightMMM
- Background in DTC, e-commerce, retail, or consumer brands
- Experience in a consultancy or client-facing analytics environment
Contract details:
- Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend (Outside IR35)
- Flexible working arrangement
